Life of the Apostle Peter
We are pleased to present here a series of articles by N.E. Rhodes Jr. wrote for Gospel Tidings concerning the life and teachings of the apostle Peter. All but one appeared during the years 1965-1968, followed by another article on the subject in 1991. These 36 writings, along with more than a hundred others, appear in the book, “The Writings of N.E. Rhodes, Jr.,” published by Ketch Publishing. You can order the book at
The Big Question: After Death — What?
In view of practically everyone’s interest in this question, we present here three sermons on the subject from the book, The Old-Path Pulpit, by Frank G. Allen, second edition, published in 1898 by Gospel Advocate Company. Brother Allen, a well-educated native of Kentucky who was born in 1836 and died of tuberculosis in 1887, preached at Mt. Byrd Christian Church in northern Kentucky for 16 years.
