Romans 8:28-32. Everything comes from God. All things are planned for a good end for all who love God and put their faith in God. God is in control and He freely gives to those who trust Him.
1 Cor. 1:3-9. God has given everything to live a Christian life. God is faithful.
Phil. 1:6. We can have confidence that God will do His part. He will not forget.
1 Thess. 5:23-24. God sets you apart for good works and He is faithful. He is working with us to get rid of our sins.
2 Thess. 3:3-5. The Lord will strengthen us and direct our love. The Lord is faithful.
If we are going to have assurance we need to base it on Who God is and what He will do for us. We cannot focus on our abilities and ourselves.
Rom. 4:16-22. Paul is helping people who are used to focusing on their own actions to judge their status and focusing it on God and how He makes them whole. We are called to have faith that God can make us the people we should be. God can make us what we are not.
2 Tim. 1:12. God is trustworthy.
2 Tim. 4:6-8. We need to keep the faith so that we can live with God. We don’t want to give up on God.
Heb. 10:35-39. Don’t give up so you will receive the promises and will live with God.
Acts 2:41-42. We need to have faith and respond everyday as we are living with God as our companion. We need to develop good patterns in our daily lives.
Luke 7:36-50. We are never too far away for God to accept us, forgive us, and walk with us if we have faith.
