The U.S. postal service handles more than 44% of all the letters in the world. It is a huge operation. However, there is no recorded records of how many love letters are sent through the mail. God is delivering the messages of love through the Holy Spirit.
- The Depth of God’s Love
Exodus 34:6, Isaiah 63:7-9, Jeremiah 31:3-6, 1 John 4:8
God will respond in our times of need. God’s love is everlasting.
Our hearts can be filled with love, but how would someone else know? That love must be demonstrated.
- God’s Love Demonstrated in Christ
John 3:16, Romans 5:6-8, Romans 8:38-39, 1 John 4:9-10
Jesus is unique and different from any other person. Christ’s life and death are God’s demonstration of his love for us. God’s love is so great that nothing in the universe is great enough to separate us from that love. God has given us the gift of his son as an expression of his love. Gifts have to be delivered to be truly appreciated.
- The Work of the Holy Spirit
Isaiah 44:3-5, Romans 5:5, Romans 8:14-17 (Gal. 4:6), Eph. 3:16-17, Acts 2:33
The power of the Holy Spirit allows us to experience God’s love. The Holy Spirit pours out the gift of God’s love. The Spirit gives us the ability to see God as our loving father.
