Submission: Christ’s Ownership
- Luke 17:7-10
When a slave does what is asked, he doesn’t deserve praise. The master has control and the slave serves him. The good servant has the desire to do the master’s will.

Jesus bought us with his sacrifice. Christ’s ownership of us is an eternal message of hope.

We are all slaves to Christ, no matter what our social strata.

All will someday confess the name of Christ. We will all acknowledge who he is.

Christ will claim to know those who acknowledge him with their deeds in life.

If we give our lives fully to the Lord, then we have true freedom.

People can become slaves of their own appetites. We are often weak with ourselves when should be strong and strong with ourselves when we should be compassionate with ourselves. Christ is the only one who can love us totally and be totally forgiving.

We all have the same Lord.
To overcome any divisions we need to remember that we all serve the same Lord.

People are different and have different gifts. We are able to come together in unity because of our understanding of God and His will.

We all have a master in heaven. We are all on the same plain when it comes to Christ and his gift.
Fulfilling God’s Purpose

Your work for the Lord is always valuable. You will be blessed.

Work to understand the will of the Lord. We know we are loved by God and we want to please the Lord. We need to look for the ways we can individually serve God.

Do everything as if you are working for the Lord. Serve the Lord with everything you do. Have the attitude of a servant in all you do.

Watch out for what God has given you to do and fulfill you service to Him.

We are set apart for good works by God, through Jesus Christ.
