Seasons of Refreshing
Acts 3:12-26

We want to grow in our understanding of The Holy Spirit of God. We want to be impacted by the Spirit in our lives in today

God Glorified Jesus – Acts 3:13-14
Peter preached that the lame man was healed by his faith in Jesus. These people were the ones who physically crucified Jesus. Despite that God raised Jesus from the dead and Jesus now sits next to God. God glorified Jesus – this is the good news – the gospel.
1 Cor. 15:1-8, 12:-26 – By the gospel we are saved. Believing in the resurrection is essential to our faith. The resurrection is our hope.
Colossians 2:9-14 – We have been given all in Christ through our faith and baptism. We are forgiven and raised to live with Christ.

God’s Call to Repentance – Acts 3:19, 26
Repent and return to God. Change your viewpoint in your life and make your life different. Take sin seriously. Want what is good.
Acts 11:21 – People who believe turn toward the Lord. These people were changing to look fully at God.
Acts 26:19-20 – These people were repenting and turning to God. They were giving God a high priority in their lives.

God’s Refreshing Blessing – Acts 3:19-21
God promises our faith will give us times of refreshing despite the brokenness of this world. God will restore the world to his view.
Isaiah 28:12 – God is the resting place for those who choose him.
Matthew 11:28-30 – Jesus gives rest to our souls.
Revelation 21:3-5 – God has a place for us where there is no death or tears.
Do we believe the message of hope?
