Eph.6:12; John 8:44

Some thoughts about war have been on my mind because of the recent world events. Radical clerics are supporting terrorist events. Whole secular view of not viewing any conflict as right or wrong. Public office seekers unwilling to voice beliefs. Are these all examples of spiritual warfare?
Paul says that our struggles are against the forces of darkness. John says that the devil is the father of lies. Throughout the Bible angels are referred to and their work is mentioned. Satan and his forces are referred to and their work throughout the Bible.

The phrase “the/an angel of the Lord:” Gen. 22; Matt. 28:2; Acts 8:26; Acts 27:23-26; Acts 12:7; Psalm 91:11; Daniel 6:22; Heb. 1; Matt. 34:21.

There are many examples of demons: Matt. 8:28-32; 9:32; 12:22; 15:22-28; 17:15-20.

Limited Power of Satan: 2 Cor. 11:14; Luke 4:5-8; Acts 26:18; 2 Cor. 4:3-4; 2 Thess. 2:9; Gen. 8:4-5; Job 1:9-11; 2:7; Zech. 3:1; Matt. 13:19,38-39; John 13:2; 1Peter 5:8.

Satan Already Defeated By Jesus Christ: 1 John 3:8; Heb. 2:18; 2 Thess. 2:8; John 12:30-32; Rev. 20:2; Rev. 20:10.

Christians’ Duty to Resist: Eph. 4:26-27; Eph. 6:11-18; James 4:7; 1Peter 5:8-9.
