2 Cor. 5:17

When we receive something new we enjoy it. There is nothing better than a new person in Christ.

New Identity
Rom. 6:1-7. Through baptism we become new creatures to walk a new life.

We need to be ready to physically enter the waters of baptism to show our commitment to walk in a new Spiritual life. We are experiencing in a physical way something Jesus himself experienced. We experience on a Spiritual level what Christ experienced in a physical way in His death, burial, and physical resurrection. If we have the faith and commitment, we are raised from the waters of baptism ready to live as a new person — no longer as slaves to sin.
Col. 2:12. Through faith and the working of God.
Gal. 3:26-29. We are children of God through faith in Christ and baptism into Christ.

Can we see ourselves as God sees us? Can we see the value God puts on us?

New Ethic
Eph. 3:14-4:3. You are changed and you value the things that Jesus valued. You see that God loves you and you want to walk with Him and show that love to others.
Eph. 4:17-5:2. When we don’t know about God’s love for us, we live hard hate filled lives. When we know God’s love we put those attitudes away.
Col. 3:1-14.

New Expectations
John 14:1-3. We have a hope to live with Him.
1 Cor. 11:26. We have the promise of communion with Christ.
1 Cor. 15:1-58. We live in hope of the resurrection
Eph. 1:18b-14. We are sealed with the Spirit
2 Peter 3:8-13. We are looking for the new heaven and the new earth.
